Palette
I’m Emil and I created Palette, a tool for colorizing photos. I’m an independent AI researcher from Sweden and I have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and Wired for my work on colorization.
Palette is used by millions of people worldwide and has a wide range of users, from Japanese pensioners looking to bring their old memories to life to professionals working on Netflix Originals. It’s a simple tool that delivers high quality results.
I started Palette as a side project while at Google, but it has since become my full-time passion. I am constantly working to improve Palette. I’m adding new features such as increased speed, an API, bulk colorization, and video colorization. I’m also developing a new AI model that significantly improves the quality of the colorizations.
I am always amazed by the beautiful and unique colorizations that people create with Palette. Seeing old photos come to life with vibrant colors is a wonderful reminder of the creativity and passion of people like you.
